About BLACK MARBLE | Advisory Group

Here’s what sets me apart: I’ve moved away from the traditional hourly billing model that leaves too many people on the sidelines. Instead, I offer subscription-based advisory services — so you get consistent support when you actually need it, not just when you can afford to book an hour. Whether you’re wrestling with complex accounting standards, planning your next big move, or simply trying to make sense of your numbers, I’ve got you covered.

I’m also a strong mentorship advocate and serve as a mentor to accounting and finance students at Portland State University, helping them navigate that unfamiliar space between classroom learning and professional life. There’s nothing better than seeing a student successfully transition into a career and grow as a professional.

Community involvement comes first. I’ve volunteered with organizations like Transition Projects, working alongside people experiencing homelessness to help them transition into permanent housing. That might mean assisting with job applications, resumes, or housing placement — but really, it’s about offering encouragement and showing up for people who just need someone in their corner. I also teach financial literacy classes because everyone deserves to understand how money works and how to use it as a tool to build the life they want.

After nearly 20 years in the Pacific Northwest, this place feels like part of who I am. When I’m not slaying spreadsheets or meeting with clients, you’ll probably find me cycling, hiking, camping, kayaking, gardening (my dahlias were lit this year), chilling in my garage, going to the ballet, or playing pinball. Life’s better when you make time for the things that matter — the ones that help you grow and keep you grounded.
